Bettina Lugk, member of the German Bundestag, visited HELIOS

We had the pleasure of welcoming Bettina Lugk, SPD politician and member of the German Bundestag for our district, Märkischer Kreis. Representing HELIOS Heizelemente, our CEO Maximilian Schmerbeck and Oliver Meyer, Head of Human Resources and Finance, discussed the challenges facing German ‘Mittelstand’, the social responsibility of family businesses, and the current economic situation with Ms. Lugk. During a subsequent tour of the company, Ms. Lugk learned about the products manufactured by HELIOS, such as tubular, flanged, and screw-in heating elements. We were delighted by her interest and the exchange of ideas. We can only agree with Bettina Lugk’s conclusion: ‘The visit has once again shown how much innovative strength and quality there is in the companies in our region.’

New at HELIOS: Electric heating elements made of stainless steel Mat. no. 1.4404 (AISI 316L)

Stainless steel Mat. no. 1.4404 (AISI 316L) expands the product range for HELIOS heating elements. This stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance and is preferred in medical technology, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, complements the existing portfolio.

Typical applications for tubular heating elements, screw-in heating elements, and flanged heating elements made of 1.4404 (AISI 316L) are cleaning and sterilization systems, PW systems (purified water), and WFI systems (water for injection).

HELIOS participated in the AOK company run

On July 4th, it was that time again: Our HELIOS team took up the challenge at the AOK company run in Lüdenscheid. The weather was perfect for the 6 km run through the city center of Lüdenscheid. There, our team was able to show that it not only knows its way around electrical heating elements but also performs well when running. The highlight after the run was the party with many other companies from the region on the town hall square. We are already looking forward to next year!
